This is a 1967 Austin Healey MK III, BJ 8. It is from the last year of the “Big Healeys” which began production in 1953. Weighing just over 2,500 lbs. and producing 150 horsepower and capable of speeds of approximately 120MPH with the electric overdrive. This Healey was the subject of a very comprehensive two year nut and bolt restoration incorporating new old stock components whenever possible and a level of craftsmanship that should please anyone. The 100 4’s and the MK III’s have become the most collectible of the Austin Healey family of sports cars and have realized spectacular prices commensurate with their individual quality.
