1959 Chevy Biscayne Restomod
When it comes to custom cars today, you may have noticed a change in philosophy. The days of butchering a body, cutting up everything from the dash to shaving off the door handles, has given way to leaving the body like the manufacturer offered it originally, but tricking out the suspension, engine, and interior. Subtle modifications are finding their way to the market today, with great street cars! I’m not sure “subtle” should be used to describe this screaming red Biscayne. It has a gorgeous paint job, with equally nice trim, chrome, and glass. A frame off restoration, with attention to detail and function was done with the best parts available. A Scott’s air ride tubular front suspension and Hotchkis 4 link rear set up offer an amazing stance, ride, and handling. Boyd Coddington custom polished 5 spoke wheels, 18” front and 20” rear, are shod with Falken tires. 4 wheel high performance slotted/cross drilled disc brakes and rack and pinion steering were also installed. Under the hood, you will find a ZZ4 350 V8, detailed to the nines. It looks like jewelry! A fully polished intake, 4 barrel carburetor, chrome valve covers, and accessories adorn the powerful engine. Also featured are block hugger headers, electronic ignition, billet front bracket setup, for the Vintage air compressor, chrome alternator, and power steering pump. Power reaches the ground through a Phoenix 700R4 automatic overdrive transmission. The immaculate interior features leather seats, door panels, new carpet and a custom hand made console. The CD stereo system, custom Boyd Coddington steering wheel, and digital gauges are all protected by tinted glass. If you want one of the best custom Chevy Biscayne sedans on the planet, you should consider this beast!
